(CTIA, Las Vegas, Nevada — March 24, 2010)– PureEnergy Solutions, Inc. the leader in wire-free power with its WildCharge™ technology, is growing its presence in Australia and New Zealand through the efforts of two market-leading companies, Uniden and Mint Wireless. Uniden is introducing its Wireless Power Series, Australia’s first Wireless Power Pad and accessories, branded Uniden and featuring WildCharge wire-free charging technology. Uniden’s Wireless Power Pad has been touted as one of the most hotly anticipated releases of the year in Australia and will allow for the wire-free charging of over 600 different mobile device models. PureEnergy Solutions signed a distribution agreement in 2009 with Mint Wireless Limited, an Australia-based portable technology company, to distribute WildCharge’s wire-free power technology products to mobile and wireless operators’ retail stores across Australia and New Zealand. Uniden’s release of their Wireless Power Pad marks the first introduction of wire-free power technology products into these two countries through Mint Wireless.
Alex Teoh, CEO of Mint Wireless commented, “We are excited to be the first to launch a range of wire-free technology solutions in the Australian market through the Uniden Wireless Power range of products. Uniden is a global leader in wireless communications and consumer electronic products, and has added wire-free charging products to their new and exciting product range.”
“The Uniden Wireless Power series is particularly appealing for both business and personal use. Given the success of devices such as the iPhone and growth in the smartphone market, we expect wire-free charging products to perform well in the Australian cellular market. Mint’s distribution agreement with PureEnergy is gaining traction and we are confident that we will continue to grow our sales revenues in line with our commitments as part of this agreement,” Mr. Teoh added.
“Wire-free charging technology is hot in the U.S. and it’s gaining a significant amount of attention in other parts of the world as well,” said Dennis Grant, chairman and CEO of PureEnergy Solutions. “PureEnergy is poised to be the leading supplier of this technology in those countries through these important brands. We’re very impressed with how quickly Mint and Uniden have worked to get these solutions into the market.”
Over the last year, PureEnergy has signed various licensing and distribution agreements with partners in multiple countries, including one with Winncom, who will distribute products in Russia and throughout the CIS countries. The company has also established a Mark of Interoperability (MOI), which allows partners to easily identify their devices as WildCharge-compatible, while empowering end-users with the confidence that their products bearing the WildCharge MOI will work together in harmony. PureEnergy, its partners and licensees expect to have millions of units available from various market-leading brands in retail channels by the end of 2010.
This week at the 2010 CTIA in Las Vegas, NV, PureEnergy will showcase several of its newest reference designs. These include an in-vehicle charger, a hand-held, battery-powered charger, and a high-powered pad that can charge multiple devices at once. PureEnergy will be showcasing these products and others at booth number 6637.
