How many WildCharge-enabled devices can charge on a WildCharge Pad at one time?
Depending on your devices power needs, up to 5 devices can charge simultaneously on a standard 15W WildCharge Pad.
Can I place metallic objects such as keys or metal ruler on the WildCharge Pad?
Absolutely! Once a metal object is placed on the pad, the pad will gracefully shutdown and restart once the device is removed. The metal object will have no harmful effect on the pad, and the pad has no effect on the metal object.
Does the pad use radiation to power the mobile device?
No. The pad uses conduction to power the devices and does not use any electro magnetic, microwave or other radiation.
Do I need to turn off the pad when not in use?
No. When it’s not in use, the pad automatically switches to a standby mode after 30 seconds.
Can I use any cell phone or other mobile device with the pad?
The pad will work with any WildCharge-enabled mobile device.
Yes. Because the pad does not use any electro magnetic or other kinds of radiation, it will not interfere with your hard drive, credit cards or floppy drives.
Can I use my laptop computer all day while powering it from the pad?
Yes. The pad provides full power to operate mobile devices. It also charges them the same way a corded power supply does, but without the cord. It’s wire-free recharging.
What happens if I spill coffee or other drinks on the pad while it operates?
Nothing special, the WildCharge Pad will shut off if liquid is spilled on it. Simply wipe up the liquid, just as you would a spill on your desk, and the pad will resume normal operation.
Does the WildCharge Pad comply with safety standards?
Yes. The Pad’s consumer-friendly technology has been tested and certified in UL, FCC and CE safety standards.
How can I know if my laptop computer, PDA or cell phone is compatible with WildCharge Pad?
Look for the WildCharge technology mark on your device, this logo signifies that the device is compatible with the WildCharge wire-free power platform.
Does my mobile device get charged even when it is off?
Yes. A mobile device will be charged even when it is off, the same way a corded power supply does, but without the cord. The charging time and rate will be identical to the usage of the original power adapter.
This is a really a great idea! Will the WIldCharge Pads be available at public places such as meeting rooms, hotels, or airports?
