Executive Leadership
The PureEnergy Solutions management team has extensive technology startup, product development, commercialization and retail experience:
Dennis Grant – Chairman & CEO Previously the CEO of DML Computers (acquired by STK); post acquisition, Dennis served as STK, VP of Marketing and Sales Support. Dennis was later the founder, CEO and Chairman of HighGround Systems, a storage software company (acquired by Sun Microsystems for approximately $400M); post acquisition, Dennis served as Sun Micro, VP of Storage Software. Dennis has further served on numerous boards.
Rich Mohr – CFO Rich brings over 30 years of financial leadership experience to PureEnergy Solutions. He was previously with Intermap Technologies, where he held the roles of Senior Vice President, CFO and Secretary over a seven-year span. Prior to Intermap, Mohr was CFO for a digital content development company, Dataplay, Inc. He was involved from the early inception of the company, growing personnel count from approximately 30 people to 260 people worldwide, including a manufacturing subsidiary in Singapore and a sales and marketing subsidiary in Japan. He also helped the company raise over $120 million in equity financing.
Sean Arend – General Counsel Sean Arend joins PureEnergy from his position as Senior Corporate Council with Vail Resorts. In his position there, he oversaw all aspects of corporate governance, corporate structuring, financing and M&A. Prior to his role with Vail Resorts, Arend was with the firm of Cooley Godward LLP, where he served as outside general counsel to several public and private companies. These ranged from start-ups to mature enterprises operating in industries spanning software, hardware/manufacturing, e-commerce, communications, consumer products and biotechnology.
George Holmes – SVP Sales & Marketing George has over 25 years of executive management experience in companies of varying sizes, from start-ups to multi-billion dollar corporations, with extensive experience in turn-around and rapid growth opportunities. Prior to joining WildCharge, now PureEnergy Solutions, he served in the position of acting Vice President of Sales for Powercast Corporation as a consultant, a wireless power company. George previously held numerous executive management positions with companies including X1 Technologies, Agere Systems (formerly Lucent MicroElectronics), Ortel Corporation, Level One Communications, and Symmetricom.
Billy Crotty – SVP Engineering & Operations With nearly 25 years of global experience in engineering, operations, sales, and supply chain management, Billy Crotty brings a tremendous amount of leadership, knowledge, and industry connections. Crotty was formerly the Senior Vice President of Supply Chain Management for Superior Communications where he helped grow the supplier base, both in the US and internationally, by over 40 percent in less than three years. His previous companies include Vectron International, Cellon International, Esmertec, and Airgain, Inc. In his various roles with these companies, Crotty successfully brought companies into foreign markets, secured partnerships with major technology brands, and managed international sales and operations teams.
Mitch Randall, MSEE, MSPhys – Founder and Chief Technology Officer (Wire-Free Solutions) Mitch has over 25 years of technology and research experience and holds 10 issued patents, with dozens of additional patents currently pending. Randall dedicated several years to designing high-tech scientific instruments such as Doppler on Wheels (DOW) storm chaser radar trucks, and has founded several companies based on technologies he has developed, including WildCharge (now called PureEnergy Solutions), which he formed to commercialize his award-winning wire-free power solution. As PureEnergy’s Chief Technology Officer for Wire-Free Solutions, Mitch continues to innovate WildCharge technology with the creation of new cutting-edge products.
Dr. Josef Daniel-Ivad – Chief Technology Officer (Energy Storage Solutions) Josef received his Ph.D from the Technical University of Graz, Austria in 1991 where he completed his thesis on the Rechargeable Alkaline Manganese Dioxide System. Dr. Daniel-Ivad has 18 patents on rechargeable alkaline technology to his credit and has authored or co-authored approximately 3 dozen technical papers.
